Dr Babu Ezhumalai was appointed as EAPCI (European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions) Young National Ambassador for India for the period 2017-19. This appointment is the first-of-its-kind in India.
Dr Babu Ezhumalai was appointed National Ambassador of India for European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (Club 35, now renamed as Heart Imagers of Tomorrow) for the years 2013-16, acknowledged by European Society of Cardiology. This is the first time India has gained this prestige.
Dr Babu Ezhumalai is very much interested in research activities starting from the first year of MBBS. He has presented abstracts and cases in many national and international conferences and won many awards in the name of Dr Babu Ezhumalai. He has publications in peer reviewed national and international journals. He is invited faculty in many national and international conferences.
